Nemanja "nexa" Isaković and his men were knocked out after three maps against FaZe in the online tournament’s Group A decider match.
FaZe are through to the Roobet Cup quarter-finals after taking out OG in a series that went all the way to three maps, denying the international squad revenge after relegating them to the lower bracket in the Group A opener.
This time around the veto was quite different, with two of the maps that made it through in the first series, Dust2 and Inferno, removed in the second round of bans after Ancient and Mirage were picked. The only remaining map from the first series, Overpass, which went to FaZe in a 30 round nailbiter in the opening match, ended up as the decider of this final group stage match.

The series kicked off on OG’s pick of Ancient, with Mateusz "mantuu" Wilczewski and company taking a quick 5-1 lead, but the squad led by Finn "karrigan" Andersen then put their first down by tallying nine in a row, although OG won the crucial CT pistol round to get right back into the fight. OG then cruised to victory off the back of a very strong 11-1 defense, securing a 1-0 lead with newcomer Adam "NEOFRAG" Zouhar averaging a 1.36 rating to top the scoreboard.
FaZe struck right back on their Mirage map pick, putting forth a fierce attack with Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken leading the way to a 9-6 half. OG won the T-side pistol round despite a double entry by Håvard "rain" Nygaard, but FaZe struck right back in the forcebuy to run away on the scoreboard as the aforementioned Canadian rifler tallied 26 kills and a 1.71 rating in his team’s 16-9 victory.
FaZe came out on top in the CT side pistol round to get ahead on Overpass, going up 4-0, but OG struck right back once they built a stable economy to gain the lead with a seven round streak on the way to an 8-7 half. Shahar "flameZ" Shushan and company then won a fourth pistol round in the series to remain ahead in the final half of the match, inching ever closer to victory, 12-7. Despite getting closer and closer, OG ultimately started to crumble, with FaZe gaining momentum all the way to a 16-13 victory, denying their rivals revenge while qualifying for the next stage of the tournament.
